EU Non-proliferation and Disarmament Conference

The annual EU Non-proliferation and Disarmament Conference, organized by IAI on behalf of the EUNPD Consortium, took place on 12 and 13 November. The meeting [2], which was opened by High Representative Josep Borrell, is one of the main international events dedicated to arms control, non-proliferation, and disarmament. The debate, in which more than 450 experts and representatives of governments and international organizations take part, addresses a broad spectrum of topics, including the future of the nuclear non-proliferation regime, the emerging technological challenges, and the impact of the covid-19 pandemic on the process of disarmament.
