New EU research projects @IAI

Four new research projects carried out by international consortia in which the IAI plays a leading role are at the starting line. The projects are funded by the EU’s Horizon Europe programme [2], and they will analyse current and future trends in post-pandemic governance (REGROUP [3]), on EU support for democracy in the countries of Eastern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa (SHAPEDEM [4]), on EU-China relations (ReConnect China [5]), and on the future of liberal democracy in Europe (RECLAIM [6]).

Each project will last for three years (except ReConnect China, which is a fouryear project) and includes research, networking and outreach activities for officials, experts and the general public in cooperation with a broad network of research centres and partner institutions from Europe, Middle East and North Africa. Deliverables will include various kind of publications, international conferences and workshops, and audio-video products for the dissemination of results.
