General course overview

The course explores emerging challenges and opportunities in the context of international diplomacy and security, examining the growing role of space and cyberspace in global geopolitics. Through lectures and case studies, participants will explore diplomatic mechanisms for international cooperation in space, regulatory challenges related to the management of space and orbital resources, and the role of international treaties. Furthermore, we will address the implications of cyber threats for critical space infrastructures and multilateral defense strategies to prevent conflicts in new global domains. A special focus will be on the role of the European Union and international organizations in building an effective regulatory and diplomatic framework.
