The G7 Hiroshima Process International Code of Conduct for Advanced AI Systems A Framework for Artificial Intelligence

The Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI), on behalf of the Italian Presidency of the Council of Ministers, was delighted to invite you to take part in the hand-over event of the activities of the G7 Digital and Technology Working Group from the Japanese to the Italian Presidency of G7. The event had a hybrid format and was held in Rome, Sala Monumentale of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Largo Chigi 19, on 22 January 2024 at 13:30-15:30.

The event, organized by IAI as a co-chair of the Think 7 (T7), one of the official engagement groups of G7, marked the launch of the campaign for the adhesion to the G7 International Code of Conduct for Organisations Developing Advanced AI Systems, one of the most tangible outcomes of the Hiroshima Process, which was approved by the G7 leaders on 30 October 2023. The Code of Conduct aims to promote safe, secure, and trustworthy AI worldwide.
