Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP): sovranità e cooperazione, tecnologia e industria
The Italian Air Force, the Centro Studi Militari Aerospaziali (CESMA) and IAI organized the conference "Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP): sovereignty and cooperation, technology and industry," held on June 10, 2025, at the Air Force Squadron Command and 1st Air Region in Milan.
The event provided a significant opportunity to discuss the GCAP role of the future defence, the importance of international cooperation in the aerospace domain, and the technological and industrial implications of the programme for Italy, particularly for universities, SMEs, and industrial clusters.
During the event, which featured speakers from leading military institutions, industries, and academia, particularly from northern Italy, it was presented the IAI study “The New Partnership among Italy, Japan and the UK on the Global Combat Air Programme” published in 2025.
