Italy and Korea: Ushering in the New Era of Strategic Partnership

On 17 October 2018 President Moon Jae-in and Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte agreed to upgrade the relationship between Italy and the Republic of Korea to a strategic partnership, setting a diplomatic framework to push for deeper political, security and economic cooperation. The conference “Italy and Korea: Ushering in the New Era of Strategic Partnership” will contribute to the debate on how best to achieve this ambitious goal.
