L’Europa nello spazio: AstroTalk con Samantha Cristoforetti

The Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) will host Samantha Cristoforetti for a dialogue on space and to take a (space) walk through her career as an astronaut at the European Space Agency.

The event will discuss the future of Europe in space and space in Europe, in an increasingly dynamic and competitive international context where states and private actors are racing toward the Moon and Mars. The AstroTalk will also delve into European and international space programs, human presence in space after the de-orbiting of the current International Space Station, and Italy's role 60 years after the launch of its first satellite. It will also address the challenges and discoveries that await us among the stars.

The audience will have the opportunity to contribute to the discussion by asking the astronaut questions.
