Military Technology: Risks and Opportunities for the Atlantic Alliance

On 27 and 28 February 2020, the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) and the Nato Defense College (NDC) organized a closed-door workshop on “Military Technology: Risks and Opportunities for the Atlantic Alliance”. The Workshop took place in IAI premises and was held under Chatham House rule. Participants included experts and stakeholders coming from NATO, academia, think tanks, industry, together with military and institutional representatives. Topics discussed ranged from the major trends and innovations in military technology, to the gaps in the Allied procurement, as well as the European defence initiatives and their impact on the transatlantic relation.
