Promoting Open Research for the Future of Education
This webinar will provide a platform to discuss the benefits and challenges of open access and open research more widely. It will focus on how the online publication of research outputs and scientific data that are accessible and re-usable free of cost, and an approach to research open to external collaboration more generally, may potentially contribute to better science and scholarly, economic and societal innovation.
It will also provide an opportunity to reflect on the possible ways in which the open access and open research movement may address related challenges in terms of sustainability, equality and diversity, enabling researchers from different disciplines, institutions, countries and world regions to disseminate their work as widely as possible.
