TTIP and Third States: The case of Turkey
Closed seminar organised in the framework of the Global Turkey in Europe project and in cooperation with Notre Europe, the Stiftung Mercator, and the Istanbul Policy Center (IPC).
As negotiations on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership proceed, questions arise regarding the impact it will have on third states with free trade or customs union agreements with either the EU or the US, and how such third states could be included in TTIP for the economic and political benefit of all. The experts invited discussed the implications of TTIP for Turkey.
