Young Women and Next Generation Initiative (YWNGI) - The Nuclear Dimensions of the War against Ukraine

On 18 October 2023, the Vienna Centre for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (VCDNP) and the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI), on behalf of the EU Non-Proliferation and Disarmament Consortium (EUNPDC) and in cooperation with the University of Innsbruck, held an event to discuss the nuclear risks associated with the war against Ukraine, including a possible use of nuclear weapons, as well as the impact of the war on nuclear arms control and disarmament. The event also included information on careers, internships and other opportunities in the field, as well as an overview of the work of the EUNPDC.
