Çavuşoğlu: EU-Turkey need mutual trust

“Turkey and the European Union need to rebuild the mutual confidence that has been 'poisoned' by the spread of negative tendencies, particularly the rise of extremism". The Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, gave a speech at a meeting organized by IAI in Rome. On migration, the Minister pointed out, "Ankara expects the EU to meet its promises and pledges", while Nato should "join the country's efforts in fighting all the terrorist organizations, not only Da’esh".
