EU, Juncker's vision for a bigger Union

Delivering his annual State of the Union address, Jean-Claude Juncker called for a more integrated Europe and set out ambitious proposals for its future reform: a Eurozone Finance Minister, a single elected EU President, a European Cybersecurity Agency. On migration, he thanked Italy for "saving Europe's honour in the Mediterranean". as for Turkey's accession to the EU, he stated that Ankara's attitude "rules out the country's EU membership in the foreseeable future”.
