EU/China: Li in Brussel for Summit

Chinese Premier, Li Keqiang, is in Brussels for the 21st China-EU summit. The meeting follows the visit by President Xi Jinping to Rome - where Italy and China signed a Memorandum of Understanding, making Rome the first G7 country to sign a bilateral agreement with Beijing on the “Belt and Road Initiative” – and meetings at the Elysée with French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and the President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker.
