IAI Asia: Conferences & Activities
The Institute's Asia programme covers a range of countries and issues. In October, IAI co-organised an event to mark the 150th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Italy and Japan. A second international conference was organised by IAI with the support of the Korea Foundation to examine regional cooperation in North East Asia. A third event will be held in early November in Mumbai to explore proposals for a strengthened security dialogue between the EU and India. Organised by IAI and the Indian Council on Global Relations, the conference is part of a larger project dealing with EU-India security relations with the cooperation of the European Policy Centre and the EU-Asia Centre.
