IAI Conferences: Europe & Refugee Crisis

As EU leaders gather in Brussels to discuss the ongoing refugee crisis, IAI is organising two international conferences in Greece and Italy to examine its impact on both Europe and the broader Middle East and North Africa. In Athens, experts will discuss the humanitarian and security dimensions of the crisis, examining governance challenges in EU migration policy and the ongoing conflicts in the MENA. In Catania, speakers will address the recent EU-Turkey migration deal, examining the applicability of a similar agreement to other departure countries, such as Libya.
