The Jedi initiative and the role of Italy

IAI hosted Italy's launch of the Joint European Disruptive Initiative (J.E.D.I), a Franco-German project bringing together companies and institutions with the aim of financing disruptive innovations in Europe. The project was presented by J.E.D.I's spokesperson, André Loesekrug Pietri. The idea is to create a "European DARPA" (the US agency responsible for the development of defense advanced research projects), dedicated to breakthrough innovations.
