Nato, 70-year alliance

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization will turn 70 this week, amid celebrations in Washington. Established on April 4 1949 by 12 Western states, it has now nearly 30 members and is still growing. Will it be able to cope with new challenges with the global liberal order fast fading?
