Governance and security in the Sahel: demographic situation in Niger

On February 12, in Rome, Istituto Affari Internazionali organised the conference “Governance and Security in the Sahel: Tackling Mobility, Demography and Climate Change” together with the Foundation for European Progressive Studies and National Democratic Institute. Independent consultant Issaka Maga talked about the demographic situation in Niger, including migration, and the policies that the government should implement on the matter.
