European elections: The future of Italy

The 2019 European elections did not lead to a clear winner and coalitions will, therefore, be necessary between four different political families: liberaldemocrats and Macron's centrists, EPP, S&D and Greens. Future candidates for important roles, such as the President of the European Commission, the President of the European Council or the Governor of the Central Bank, will be chosen within these four political families. But which role will Italy play in this context?
