COP26: Towards a "Green Recovery"

The upcoming 26th Conference of the Parties (COP26) requires effort to make progress on the remaining details of the Paris rulebook - unresolved from the previous COP25 - and part of the structural backbone to untap the Paris Agreement’s potential. Moreover, the Green Deal may offer most potential for the EU to move forward towards a more sustainable and equitable approach that puts participatory democracy, the whole range of human rights and social-ecological justice upfront in the frame of the southern neighbourhood.
