Careers in the European Union

Pursuing a career within the institutions of the European Union means having the opportunity to work in a multicultural, multilingual and inclusive environment. The opportunities for growth and career are numerous, as well as the possibility of developing new skills, with a competitive salary.

The Istituto Affari Internazionali, which has always been committed to contributing to the advancement of European integration, organizes the hybrid specialization course for "Careers in the European Union", dedicated to undergraduates and recent graduates with a background in Social Sciences (Political Sciences, Economics, Law), who want to prepare to take the selection tests to work within the European institutions.

The course will be held in Italian, with the possibility of some lessons in English, from 3 to 5 October 2023 in hybrid mode, online and in person (the course will also be activated in presence if a minimum of eight participants is reached on site).

The program is limited in number and the maximum number of participants is 25. To participate in the course, it is necessary to fill out the online registration form attaching your resume.

The registration fee is € 349,00 (VAT included).

IAI Junior Members and holders of the Lazio Youth Card will benefit from a 10% discount.

Employees of the Ministry of Defense have the possibility of accessing a 15% discount. Also, applicants can, through an "Early Application", access a 15% discount on the total fee of the courses needed to obtain Advanced Certificates of the I and II Semester, following immediate enrollment to be paid in a single solution.

Thanks to the contribution of the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation, two scholarships are also available, based on income and merit, to cover the registration fee in full. The course on “Career in the European Union” is part of the Advanced Certificate for "International Careers", an in-depth and detailed path that aims to train on a theoretical and practical level in view of a career in the diplomatic and/or international fields.

Attending courses at the Istituto Affari Internazionali means coming into contact with experts and researchers on international politics topics and having the opportunity to be involved in the Institute's future activities dedicated to young people.
