The Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) is pleased to announce a public event presenting Mediterranean Transition from the Gulf to the Sahel, the latest volume of IAI Research Studies, at the Più Libri Più Liberi Fair.

The event focuses on the role that Italy and Europe play, and can still play, in the region, addressing security, economic and energy dynamics by starting from two fundamental - only apparently conflicting - assumptions: that security dynamics have a strong territoriality; and that seas unite rather than divide the world's populations. Through the voices of some of the book's authors and qualified guests, the main research results on the topic will be illustrated, raising a series of open questions, with the aim of facilitating the participation of the public in a moment of exchange and mutual growth.
