The AI Roadmap of G7: Priorities and Challenges

The event, organised in cooperation with Microsoft, will bring together officials, experts from think tanks and academia, and leading international organisations working on artificial intelligence (AI).

The discussion will assess the role of the G7 in the crowded landscape of digital governance and AI regulation. Experts will provide their insights on the most significant developments achieved in recent years, as well on the initiatives undertaken under the Italian G7 presidency. The event will also seek to highlight the main challenges the G7 faces when aiming to advance AI regulation, foster greater convergence among various stakeholders and like-minded countries, and promote digitalisation beyond the G7.

The event will also include the presentation of a IAI paper on “The G7 and AI governance: Towards a Deeper and Broader Agenda”.
