Africa e Piano Mattei: strumenti e prospettive per l’analisi della politica internazionale

General course overview

The course aims to provide participants with theoretical and practical tools to analyze the political, economic and strategic dynamics that characterize the African continent, with particular reference to the role of the Mattei Plan and its implications for Italian and European foreign policy. The course also intends to analyze the challenges that the African continent, in rapid growth and transformation, must face, and integrates the theoretical and analytical tools of International Relations with the critical sensitivity of area studies. Economic and political scenarios, the dynamics of crisis and conflict, relationships with global actors, factors of development and geopolitical change will be analyzed.
