Resetting Euro-Mediterranean Relations
Published in the framework of the IAI-led MEDRESET project, the latest concept paper analyses the role of eight leading state-actors in the Mediterranean region (the US, Russia, China, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey and Israel). The paper assesses the policies and changing roles of these actors while reflecting on their impact and compatibility with the EU’s approach to the Med. Funded by the EU’s Horizon2020 programme, the project aims to deconstruct current narratives on the Mediterranean and advance a new, more inclusive and bottom-up approach to Euro-Med relations.
