To suspend or not to suspend Turkey’s accession to EU: that is the question - and the focus - of Nathalie Tocci's analysis for the Feuture research project on the EU-Turkey relations. The constitutional changes sought by president Erdogan and the prospect of reinserting the death penalty reopened the debate on this issue. For IAI's Director, though, "time for a suspension has not come (yet)". Feuture is the largest project ever funded by the EU Commission (Horizon 2020) on Turkey, and IAI is its scientific coordinator.
