Avoiding the sandstorm in the Sahel

Future prospects for the Sahel region - with particular attention to Niger, Senegal and Sudan - and possible strategies to be adopted by the EU and US, are addressed in the book “The security-migration-development nexus revised: a perspective from the Sahel”, edited by IAI and FEPS. The volume - which includes six policy reports - was presented during the event “Avoiding the sandstorm in the Sahel”, on February 20th in Rome.
