Tiziano Breda
Tiziano Breda is a Associate Analysis Coordinator for Latin America at ACLED and an associate fellow in the International Affairs Institute. He was a researcher in IAI’s Global Actors Programme, where he dealt with international politics and security, with a particular focus on the role of the European Union and its member states in crisis management and conflict resolution, as well as armed violence, migration and political instability in Latin America.
He worked formerly at the International Crisis Group, first as EU advocacy and research assistant in the Brussels office, then as researcher for the Latin America programme in Colombia and as Central America analyst in Guatemala.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Padua and a Master’s Degree in International Relations from the University of Bolonia, Campus Forlì. He has also specialised in peace studies and conflict resolution by taking courses at the Johns Hopkins University (SAIS) and the Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
