Le prospettive dell'economia globale e il ruolo delle aree emergenti. Rapporto finale Global Outlook 2007

The Global Outlook final report focuses on the role of emerging areas and the new phases of the global economy. It contains a selection of the contributions presented during the Global Outlook project in 2007. This volume is edited by the IAI Laboratory of International Political Economy, the study and research area of the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) dedicated to issues pertaining to the world economy and the internationalization of the Italian economy. The main activities of the Laboratory, carried out in collaboration with other national and international research institutes, are as follows: Global Outlook, a venue for debate, analysis and proposal on topics of special relevance for contemporary Italy's international action; "Italy in the global economy", an observatory on the reorganization processes under way and the policies and instruments aimed at fostering the internationalization of the Italian economy; "WTO Desk", a series of workshops on the bilateral and multilateral trade negotiations and Italy's role.
