European Cbrn Innovation for the maRket CLuster - ENCIRCLE

ENCIRCLE was a four-year project aimed at enhancing the EU CBRN industry competitiveness, increasing the benefits of the EU research and innovation and enlarging CBRN market. The main objective was to improve CBRN preparedness, response, resilience and recovery efficiency. To reach this goal in a short to long term perspective the consortium – coordinated by the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL) and including industries, trade associations and research institutes - capitalized on its experience in the EDEN Demonstration Project, in other CBRN relevant projects, and in the CBRN market and supply chain. ENCIRCLE relied on two large interactive communities: practitioners and customers, and industrial and technological providers, the latter including many Small and Medium Enterprises (SME). The project ended on May 19, 2021 with a final online conference attended by 150 delegates from 15 countries.
