International Relations Observatory

This a joint project conducted by IAI and three other research centres in cooperation with Italy's Parliament. The objective is to provide members of parliaments, in particular the delegations to the parliamentary assemblies of international organisations (most notably NATO) and the Defence and Foreign Affairs Committees of the Senate and Chamber of Deputies, as well as the staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and members of the diplomatic-consular network, with a regularly upgraded analysis of major international developments.

For this project, IAI prepares three different kinds of products:

• Note: short briefs that synthetically inform about and examine single topics of international relevance
• Approfondimenti: analytical reports addressing bigger and more complex issues
• Focus euroatlantico: quarterly reports that take stock of the state of the transatlantic relationship
