EU-Turkish Economic Relations

A Global Turkey in Europe policy brief analyses EU-Turkey economic relations and EU-US negotiations for a Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership. While Turkey has expressed an interest in being part of the TTIP negotiations, Kamil Yilmaz argues that Ankara should concentrate on negotiating a free trade agreement with the United States while working with Europe to deepen the existing Customs Union.
