New Multilateralism: The Role of the UN and of the European Union

The Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) is the scientific partner in a project developed by the Foundation of European Progressive Studies (FEPS) with the aim of contributing to the on-going discussion on the reform of the multilateral system by connecting key policymakers in the European and national political institutions and high-level experts in a series of High-Level European and International meetings. The main deliverable of the project, a background paper drafted by IAI's research team, was presented in New York in September 2020 on the eve of the UN General Assembly.
