EXACT - Integrated training programme for analysis, assessment and advice on EU external action and its institutional architecture

The project - carried out in cooperation with the University of Cologne - aimed to improve the expertise of twelve young researchers in the field of the EU's External action. EXACT combined professional and academic training, addressing the growing demand for political advisory skills complemented with professional techniques. The project combined the scientific and educational experience of three distinguished European universities and six think tanks in an integrated network providing sound structures for research and education. As a part of EXACT, in 2011 the IAI  hosted four foreign researchers who developped projects on the European foreign and security policy in cooperation with the Institute's research staff. The project ended in December 2013.
