Global Turkey in Europe. Political, Economic, and Foreign Policy Dimensions of Turkey's Evolving Relationship with the EU
L'Unione europea sta cambiando, la Turchia anche, e - soprattutto - sono in atto un cambiamento sistemico ed una crisi che interessano l’economia, la diffusione di norme democratiche e la politica estera. Questo volume esplora come Ue e Turchia possano rafforzare la cooperazione in ambito politico, economico e di politica estera, e trovare una via d’uscita dallo stallo in cui si trovano le loro relazioni, a seguito dei mancati progressi nei negoziati di accessione e della crescente incertezza sul futuro del progetto europeo dopo la crisi dell’Eurozona e sul ruolo della Turchia nell'Ue.
Parte dei testi raccolti nel presente volume sono stati originariamente pubblicati nella collana Global Turkey in Europe (luglio 2012-marzo 2013), nell'ambito del progetto "Turkey, Europe and the World", condotto dall'Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) in collaborazione con Stiftung Mercator e Istanbul Policy Center (IPC).
