Governance and Security in the Sahel: Tackling Mobility, Demography and Climate Change
Questo volume analizza i fattori legati a una buona governance nel Sahel ed esplora il modo in cui la qualità della governance venga influenzata e possa a sua volta influenzare la gestione dei cambiamenti demografici e climatici nonché della mobilità. Questa ricerca si articola attorno a quattro assi principali: (1) analizza i fattori alla base di una buona governance nel Sahel; (2) si concentra sulla governance della mobilità, della demografia e del clima per esplorare la loro relazione con la governance; (3) esamina casi studio specifici, ovvero Burkina Faso, Mali e Niger; 84) affronta, infine, il ruolo nella regione dei principali attori internazionali, inclusa l’Ue. Ogni capitolo offre inoltre alcune importanti raccomandazioni strategiche agli attori locali e internazionali.
